Understanding Guest Passes
Guest passes allow residents to temporarily register additional vehicles so guests can legally park at the community for a short period of time.
Each property sets its own rules around guest parking, including limits on duration and quantity.
What Are Guest Passes?
Guest passes:

Allow temporary vehicles to park on the property

Are intended for short-term use only

Are subject to community-specific limits, such as:

Maximum number of guest passes allowed at one time
-
Maximum number of days per guest pass
-
Monthly or rolling limits per resident or vehicle
-
These rules are defined by your community’s parking policy and are enforced automatically by the system.
How Do I Add a Guest Pass?
You can register a guest vehicle in either of the following ways:
Option 1: From the Dashboard

Log in to your account

Select Register Guest/Rental from the red button at the top of the dashboard
Option 2: From the Left Navigation Menu

Log in to your account
-
Select Guest/Rental Vehicles

Choose Create Guest Pass, Invite Guest, or Extend Guest Pass
Guest passes can be:

Completed directly by the resident, or
-
Sent as an invitation so the guest can register their vehicle themselves
What Information Is Required for a Guest Pass?
When creating a guest pass, the following information is required:

Country
-
State
-
License plate number (with confirmation)
-
Vehicle make
-
Vehicle model
-
Vehicle color
-
Start date and time for the pass
Once entered, the guest pass must be paid for before it becomes active.
What Happens If Guest Limits Are Reached?
If a guest vehicle is parked for the maximum allowable consecutive days, the system may classify it as an unauthorized long-term vehicle.
When this happens:

The vehicle may become a Restricted Guest Vehicle

Restricted vehicles cannot park on the property again until the restriction period ends

Unused guest days cannot be applied while a restriction is active
You will be notified before activating a guest pass that would result in a restriction and must acknowledge the warning to proceed.
Can ParkingPass Extend or Override Guest Pass Limits?
ParkingPass automatically enforces your community’s parking rules and cannot:

Extend guest pass durations

Increase guest vehicle limits
-
Remove guest vehicle restrictions
If you need:

Additional guest passes, or
-
A longer guest stay than allowed
You must contact your property management office for approval.
