How Is My Personal Information Protected?

This article explains how ParkingPass protects the personal information and documents you provide during registration, including how documents are handled and when they are deleted.

ParkingPass is designed with security and privacy in mind. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information while ensuring your property management team can complete the verification process required for parking access.

How Your Information Is Protected

Encrypted & Secure Systems

All information entered into ParkingPass is encrypted and protected using industry-standard security practices. Access to sensitive information is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Secure Payment Processing

If you make a payment through ParkingPass, credit card transactions are processed securely through Stripe, one of the world’s leading payment processors.

👉 ParkingPass does not store credit card information on its servers.

Document & Personal Data Security

During registration, your property may require documents such as:

  • Driver’s License

  • Vehicle Registration

  • Proof of Insurance

  • Lease or residency verification documents

These documents are:

  • Used only for identity and vehicle verification

  • Accessible only to your property management team for review

  • Not shared with third parties or external vendors

  • Not used for any purpose outside of resident verification

Your property management team reviews these documents to confirm eligibility for parking privileges under your community’s rules.

How Long Are Documents Stored?

ParkingPass follows a data-minimization approach. Verification documents are retained only as long as necessary to complete the review process.

  • Approved applications: Uploaded verification documents are permanently deleted after your property approves your account.

  • Declined applications: Documents may be temporarily retained (up to 30 days) to allow corrections and resubmission. If no resubmission occurs within that timeframe, the documents are permanently deleted.
